We will be heading for the slopes of the most active volcano in Costa Rica. Rincón de la Vieja which is 1 hour and 45 minutes from your resort. The scenic route will take us to the adventure center were you will have locker, bathroom, changing rooms while our staff will communicate safety tips before you take on the 9 cable zip line, plus 10 platforms. But if you feel more like hiking and appreciate wildlife at the foot of the volcano, we recommend our 8 hanging bridges with different lengths. The next activity is perfect for freshening up: a quarter of a mile water slide above the forest. You will indulge on buffet lunch to regain your energy and continue on your adventure of horseback riding in a middle of the forest with great landscapes. We will take a short walk and an exotic waterfall awaits you to reach the Eco Spa where you can open your skin pores in the natural sauna, exfoliate with volcanic mud and enjoy 5 pools the natural hot spring water for some well earned relaxation.

Visit the Mombacho Volcano Nature Reserve on this day trip from San Juan del Sur. Mombacho is near the city of Granada and is 1344 meters high. The Mombacho Volcano Nature Reserve is one of 78 protected areas of Nicaragua. Mombacho is an extinct volcano which last eruption occurred in 1570. Waterfall in San Ramon On the southern slopes of the Maderas volcano, about 4 km from San Ramón beach, is this beautiful waterfall that falls over mossy rocks into a small pool. They also own the Biological Station in San Ramón where the trail to the waterfall begins. continue along a small trail. The trail takes you through dense jungle, past old mossy trees, vines and bromeliads. Howler monkeys and a great variety of birds, butterflies and other insects live in this area, some of them endemic to the Maderas volcano. you can cool off in the natural shower of the waterfall and the small pool at your feet. if it's in nicaragua it's done in nicaragua, if it's in costa rica it's done in costa rica.
