This Skagway shore excursion shows you a glimpse of Canada's legendary north country. On this half-day tour by mini-bus, you'll travel up to the White Pass, cross the border into Canada and travel the Klondike Highway in British Columbia. You'll see incredible scenery and maybe even spot native wildlife roaming the spectacular scenery. The turnaround point is the Yukon border and Welcome to the Yukon sign for a great photo. As a bonus, we include a stop at the Yukon Suspension Bridge! View the Tutshi river canyon while crossing the bridge and see educational displays. Also available are clean, flush restrooms (the only ones available on the tour route), snack bar to purchase food, and Yukon gift shop. Going to the Yukon border makes this tour unique among tour options that do similar itinerary. We go farther! All passengers must bring a current valid passport (and/or USA/Canada Visa if required by your nationality). No copies of documents allowed.

The Chilkoot Hike and Float Tour is an active, family-oriented hiking adventure along the world famous Chilkoot Trail. This wilderness hike takes place in the heart of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Learn about the Gold Rush, Native Alaskan, and natural history of the region. Depart Skagway for a 10-mile (16 km) scenic van tour along the coastline to the Chilkoot Trail trailhead and then enjoy 1.5 to 2 hours of hiking and 40 minutes on the raft. The hike is moderately strenuous so please be in good condition. Have your camera ready for occasional wildlife sightings both on land and in the water. Get away from the crowds in Skagway and get immersed in the natural beauty of the Dyea valley during the coastal forest hike and while floating down the peaceful river.

Enjoy the classic Skagway tour! Our tour will take you down Broadway, Skagway's historic main street, and we'll point out various points of interest and photo stops. As we leave Skagway, we'll climb over 3,500 feet in elevation up to the summit, where Gold Rushers had to hand-carry all their gear on their way into Canada - except you'll do it from a heated bus. Our tour will pick up all guests and get you back in time for your ship. Combine sightseeing and river rafting on this relaxing Skagway shore excursion. Enjoy a beautiful 10-mile (16-km) drive along the coast to the Dyea Valley, an old Gold Rush settlement rich with history. On the drive, you may spot seals, eagles and other wildlife (however wildlife sightings are not guaranteed). See the start of the famous Chilkoot Trail, where thousands journeyed in pursuit of gold in 1898. Gear up with lifejackets, rubber boots, and rain ponchos (if necessary) for the peaceful (approx. 40 minute) float through lush coastal forest with mountain views.
