Throughout the year, dolphins frolic in the crystal-clear waters and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

This tour is for people who are adventurous! Due to the night time nature of the tour, there may be some surprise visits from wildlife. Plan on wearing long sleeves and/or long pants, with bug spray underneath your clothing to deter mosquitos.

Our ferry boat operates daily in the spring and summer and nearly every day in the fall and winter. This 20 minute trip offers great chances to spot dolphins, sea turtles and even manatees! We often spot sea birds on the ride to and from Shell Key!

Shell Key is also home to a large nature preserve, where nearly half of the island is blocked to allow the native seabirds a section of undisturbed beach. Come out and enjoy a beautiful day of fun in the sun!

For camping enthusiasts, we offer an overnight experience on Shell Key! All you need is your “camper” ferry ticket, a camping permit from Pinellas County, and all your camping gear to have an epic night under the stars! This is an unbelievably unique opportunity to camp out on a secluded island.

Set sail aboard the iconic schooner Suncoast Horizon as we set sail in the picturesque waters of Treasure Island, Florida!

You’ll set sail about an hour before sunset to give you plenty of time to catch the full range of hues painted on Mother Nature's canvas. We provide plenty of cozy warm blankets in case you get a chill, or want to cuddle on deck. If you love clean air, smooth sailing, postcard beautiful sunsets, and starry night skies then this romantic sailing trip is for you. Complimentary soda and bottled water available. BYOB allowed. Despite being our shortest trip and closest to shore, expect to catch Grey Snapper, Porgies, Black Seabass, Hogfish, Mangrove Snapper and may even a Mackerel or Kingfish. Your catch will be perfect for taking home to cook or even stop next door at The Friendly Fisherman Seafood Restaurant to have them prepare your fish for you.

Rod rentals available at Hubbard's Marina that will include all the equipment needed for your excursion. If bringing your own gear, please check with crew for recommended tackle and bait.
